Has trained with State, National, International and World Champions and is
currently a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in Kukkiwon, 2nd Degree Black
Belt in Moo Duk Kwon, also he has studied Icho-Yama Ryu Aiki Ju-Jutsu and
attended seminars and/or classes in over a dozen different styles of martial arts.
He has over 25 years of martial arts experience and over 19 years teaching
experience. He is a certified Black Belt Master Instructor, certified USAT and AAU
Judge and Referee. He has competed in many Tae Kwon Do style and point
karate tournaments. He is a Virginia State TKD Champion, United States TKD
Champion and owner/instructor of D S Karate. He is currently a Deputy Sheriff
with over 15 years in Law Enforcement, certified General Instructor, Defensive
Tactics Instructor with the Department of Criminal Justice Services and is certified
as an ASP Tactical Baton Instructor.
